Chelsea Manning was spotted partying with right-wingers and is now facing backlash for “hanging out with Nazis.”

The left always eats its own. Always.

US Senate candidate and Antifa darling Manning has caused contention by attending a pro-Trump gala where right-wing media personalities such as Vice-Co Founder Gavin McInnes were present. Mike Cernovich hosted the event as a celebration of Trump’s first year in office. (See: Linda Sarsour Backs Chelsea Manning For U.S. Senate)

Chelsea Manning tweeted on January 20 that she had  “crashed the fascist/white supremacist hate brigade party” but, contrary to her tweet, was actually spotted by eyewitnesses socializing and fraternizing with the enemy.

Buzzfeed reporter Charlie Warzel reported that there was no dispute inside between Manning and the right wingers, that he could see, and that “everyone seemed very civil to her and all sides seemed to be enjoying themselves.” (Related: Chelsea Manning Releases Her First Senate Campaign Ad)

Mike Cernovich also told Buzzfeed that it’s “clear [Chelsea] does what she wants and doesn’t give a shit[…]And I think she knows that we’re the same way.”

Chelsea is now receiving backlash from the left as social media users seem distrustful of her attendance:

This isn’t the first time Manning has been linked to the right wing. Yashar Ali, for HuffPost, tweeted a photograph of Manning, and conservative journalists Jack Posobiec, Cassandra Fairbanks, and Will Chamberlain taken in Washington, D.C. at an “Escape the Room” game center before Christmas.

However Fairbanks claimed to have never met Manning before when speaking to Buzzfeed‘s Joe Bernstein in direct messages regarding Manning’s party crashing that Fairbanks posted to Twitter.

Chelsea Manning is known for spilling state secrets and whistleblowing to website Wikileaks. She was kept in solitary confinement for nearly a year before President Barack Obama commuted her sentence. Studies have shown that just 15 days of solitary confinement causes permanent psychological damage.
