Traitorous Chelsea Manning just issued his/her first campaign ad for the Maryland Senate race. We’ve seen some crazy ads before (see WATCH: Democratic Candidate Dan Helmer Mocked By Both Sides, Cringeworthy Top Gun Style Campaign Ad and Is This Real Life? LGBTQ Campaign about ‘Pronoun Violence’ Impossible to Distinguish from Satire). This one takes the gay wedding cake. If one were to make a mockery of a campaign ad, I can’t imagine it’d be any different than what Chelsea decided to run with.
Only this is real. Like really real.
And it’s amazing.
We live in trying times. Times of fear, of suppression, hate.
We don’t need more or better leaders, we need someone willing to fight.
We need to stop expecting that our systems will somehow fix themselves, we need to actually take the reins of power from them. We need to challenge this at every level. We need to fix this. We don’t need them anymore, we can do better.
You’re damn right we got this.
The dark theme would be somewhat unnerving if this weren’t an ad for a man wearing lipstick. Also, I’m not persuaded this wasn’t made by a fifteen-year-old who just finished binge watching “Designated Survivor” and said “I, like, can totally politics now, too.” (Related: Chelsea Manning Celebrates ‘Law Enforcement Appreciation Day’ With Anti-Police Tirade)
This is the section of 2018 I’m really going to dig. Because when conservatives made their move in 2010? Let’s just say there were a few primary challenges from people who were less than serious. I doubt Chelsea Manning is going to be the only crazed leftist to attempt and run for office this year. It’s going to be amazing.
