Eric Bolling knows who to blame for Russia meddling – Video

On Saturday’s episode of “Cost of Freedom” on the Fox News Channel, co-host Eric Bolling, who also co-hosts the popular primetime show “The Five,” said former President Barack Obama is the only person to blame for Russian meddling in the 2016 election, if any meddling occurred at all.

Bolling said there is a conspiracy between “the left and the media” to find a new “boogeyman,” which Bolling identified as Russia.

“Since the loss of their dear leader, Hillary Clinton, Democrats have been the epitome of sore losers,” Bolling said. “Make no mistake: If Russia interfered in our elections there is only one person to blame, and that is Barack Obama, who was in charge of protecting the integrity of our federal elections system.”

“Why is no one looking into what he did to protect the ballot box?” Bolling asked. “Democrats need to wake up and realize that from Wisconsin to Kentucky, and from Michigan to Pennsylvania people voted for Donald Trump because he promised jobs, security, and the willingness to drain ‘the swamp.’”

Bolling’s comments came just one day after a new report revealed at least eight peoplewere present at the June 2016 meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer claiming to have Kremlin-linked damaging knowledge about Hillary Clinton, information Trump Jr. failed to disclose in previous statements about the controversial meeting.

NBC News also reported on Friday one of the attendees at the meeting was a former Soviet counterintelligence officer, which seemed to be confirmed by a statement issued the same day by Trump Jr.’s lawyer.

Despite the startling revelations about the meeting that have been steadily revealed over the past week, Trump and Trump Jr. have denied any wrongdoing occurred. On Sunday, Trump wrote on Twitter, “Hillary Clinton can illegally get the questions to the Debate & delete 33,000 emails but my son Don is being scorned by the Fake News Media?”

In another shot fired against the media, Trump said on Sunday, “With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!”
