Controversial Billboard in Indiana Has Local Community Of Muslims Upset

A huge billboard on the outskirts of Indianapolis, Indiana -ridiculing the prophet Mohammed as “the perfect man”- has the local Muslim community calling for its immediate removal, reports a local Fox affiliate.

The billboard, which can be seen on a major interstate highway, calls Mohammed the “perfect man,” and then lists six ‘check boxes’ next to stories attributed to his life: such as “Married 6 year old” and “Beheaded 600 Jews in one day.”

“I was a little disappointed when I saw that,” said a member of the Islamic Society of North America. “We’ve seen them in New York and several others cities on billboards as well as other transit ads.”

The billboard mentions no specific group or organization, but the word “Truthophobes” can be seen at the bottom of the giant sign.

According to Fox59, the Muslim Alliance of Indiana is raising money to erect another billboard nearby, which will “spread a message of peace and kindness.”
