POLICE HUNT FOR SUSPECT AFTER MACHETE ATTACK IN GERMANY 2
An 80-year-old man has been seriously injured as the result of a machete attack in Dusseldorf, Germany.

This comes just one day after a man wielding an ax injured nine people at a railway station in the same city.

According to The Telegraph, today’s attack took place in a car park. Police believe the assailant is still on the run. The Express reports that staff and students at a nearby school have been ordered to stay inside.

According to a police spokesman, “there is no connection with yesterday’s situation at the central station.”

Still, several social media users have responded to news of today’s attack with criticism for Germany – which continues to take in more and more refugees.

Following yesterday’s incident, a 36-year-old Yugoslavian migrant has been arrested.

While police previously arrested two suspects, they are now reportedly certain that the migrant acted alone.
